Information Grouping

All information in EfficientPIM can be managed in groups. We will describe grouping with Contacts as an example. It is the very same for other information types.

In the case of Contacts, you may hope to create groups of friends, relatives or colleagues.
By default, a contact belongs to only one group, but you may also set one contact to belong to multiple groups.

The 'Other Contacts' group is the default group set by the software. You cannot delete or rename it. If a contact does not belong to any custom group, it belongs to the 'Other Contacts' group.

You are allowed to create subgroups. For example, you can create two subgroups, 'Company A' and 'Company B', within the 'Colleague' group. However, you cannot create subgroups in the 'Other Contact' group.
